Orcad

A professional tool for drawing electronic schematics and simulating the circuits. Size > 900 MB

Eagle

Tool for drawing electronic schematics and designing PCB. Freeware version with few limitations. Compact. Used for making our Atmel uP kits.

AvrStudio

The IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for making C coding for the Atmel AVR micros.

USB driver

Use these drivers from FTDI if you are having problems connecting AvrStudio to the kit.

GNU compiler for AvrStudio

This C compiler connects with AvrStudio and is used for compiling C programs for Atmels AVR micros.

WinCUPL

Program used for making JEDEC files for designing PLDs.

ArgoUML

Tool for drawing UML diagrams, including class diagrams.

Karnaugh map solver

Handles up to 6 variables in the input.

C# 2008 Express version

Get C# for Windows graphical programming. Complete with full IDE, .net environment and compiler

Visual C ++, Express version

Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 C++ Express version.

Is used to make console applications in 1. semester.

IAR ARM Compiler

IAR – top professional compilers for embedded design. Download the kick-start version, gives you a permanent but size-limited version.
